Brigham represents landlords and tenants with an eye for how a business fits its surroundings. His approach considers the tenant mix of a street and a district—not only the economics of an individual building or project.

After graduating from UC Berkeley, he began his real estate career in economic development at DTLA Alliance. His writing through DTLA Rising with Brigham Yen explored urban planning, architecture, and the revitalization of Downtown Los Angeles. That perspective continues to shape his work with owners and businesses across the Los Angeles area.

What Brigham works on

Brigham Yen represents food-and-beverage and specialty retail tenants in site selection and lease negotiation in Pasadena and Old Pasadena, Burbank, Koreatown, Monterey Park, Irvine, Chino and Arcadia. His tenant-side work since 2022 includes multi-location operators — Sunright Tea Studio (Koreatown and Burbank) and Tigawok (Burbank, Irvine and Chino) — and long-term leases such as Prince St. Pizza at 49 E Colorado Blvd (ten years) and Thumbling at Prado Center, Monterey Park (fifteen years). Other tenants represented include Chicha San Chen, Wushiland Boba, Hibachi Papi, Tacos Neza, Buffalo Exchange, Stems, Takashima and Maison Kosé. He has also represented buyers of commercial property in Highland Park and Pasadena and, occasionally, landlords of Pasadena retail.

Selected transactions

Since joining the firm in 2022, Brigham has completed more than twenty transactions, primarily representing food-and-beverage and specialty-retail tenants. His clients include Sunright Tea Studio, Tigawok, Chicken Bun Bun, Wonder Cha, Wushiland Boba, Chicha San Chen, Prince St. Pizza, Hibachi Papi, Tacos Neza, Thumbling, Buffalo Exchange, Stems, Takashima and Maison Kosé. He has negotiated with ownership and brokerage teams representing Westfield, the Irvine Company, Onni, AvalonBay, Jamison and Newmark, among others.

His experience includes repeat expansion work across Los Angeles, Burbank, Irvine and Chino; two Santa Anita stores for the same cosmetics importer; three buyer-representation sales; and a landlord-representation retail lease at Avalon Pasadena.
