Hoss founded MacVaugh & Company in Old Pasadena in 1994. His work brings together landlord and tenant representation, investment sales, market analysis, and property management, with a focus on the decisions behind a successful real estate assignment.
His background includes real estate consulting, expert-witness work, and Direct Assessment Tax consulting for commercial properties. A Dickinson College graduate, he earned his MBA at USC with a focus on entrepreneurial management. His early experience in renovation and management continues to inform his approach to ownership.

Brigham represents landlords and tenants with an eye for how a business fits its surroundings. His approach considers the tenant mix of a street and a district—not only the economics of an individual building or project.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, he began his real estate career in economic development at DTLA Alliance. His writing through DTLA Rising with Brigham Yen explored urban planning, architecture, and the revitalization of Downtown Los Angeles. That perspective continues to shape his work with owners and businesses across the Los Angeles area.

Madzie combines real estate representation with marketing, photography, and transaction coordination. Her work supports the firm’s agents and property management team, connecting the presentation of a property with the practical work needed to move an assignment forward.
A Pasadena native, she studied communications, photography, and fashion media at Southern Methodist University and previously worked with the marketing team at Ebby Halliday in Dallas. She is building MacVaugh & Company’s Westside presence and welcomes conversations with owners and businesses seeking representation there.

Ryan brings a background in finance, sales, and environmental planning to industrial real estate. He works with property owners, tenants, and investors on leasing, sales, acquisitions, and property management, with attention to the operational requirements behind each decision.
A Los Angeles native and graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business, his market experience includes Pasadena, Monrovia, Montrose, the San Gabriel Valley, and Hollywood.

Cathy oversees office management, finance, human resources, and special projects at MacVaugh & Company. Her work provides the operational foundation that supports the brokerage and management teams.
She brings more than 20 years of executive management experience from The Estée Lauder Companies, including work at Clinique in special events. Originally from New Orleans and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, her background spans department management, finance, marketing, and corporate operations.
